| Meine nächste Station war Huaraz, ungefähr 400 km nördlich von Lima in der Cordillera Blanca. Für viele Leute ist die Gegend genausoschön wie das Himalaya! Das kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, weil mir der Vergleich fehlt. Aber schön wars auf jeden Fall! In Huaraz ist ein anderer Menschenschlag unterwegs als z.B. in Cuzco, da es ausser den Bergen und der Natur kaum was zu sehen gibt. Es sind also fast nur Bergsteiger und Trekker unterwegs, was ganz angenehm war! Leider ist mir hier etwas die Zeit ausgegangen, ich hätte gerne noch ein paar weitere Touren gemacht! Als erstes habe ich den Santa-Cruz-Trek mit einer Gruppe gemacht, der beliebteste Trek in der Gegend. Wir waren 4 Tage unterwegs, und hatten schöne Aussichten auf einige 6000er. Am meisten hängengeblieben sind bei mir: Artesonraju (Berg vom Paramount-Logo - siehe Foto 13), Alpamayo (leider nicht die berühmte Seite), und Huandoy. |
| My next destination was Huaraz, about 400 kms north of Lima, in the Cordillera Blanca. For many people, this region is as beautiful as the Himalaya range! I don't have the basis for comparison, but it was indeed very impressive! In Huaraz you'll meet other kind of people than for example in Cuzco, because there's not much to see besides mountains and nature. Therefore only trekkers and mountaineers are travelling to Huaraz, which was pleasant for me. Unfortunately, I ran out of time here, otherwise I would have done a couple of tours! I started with the Santa-Cruz-trek with a group, the most popular trek in the region. We were trekking for 4 days, and had nice views of many 6000-peaks. The following mountains made the biggest impression on me: Artesonraju (peak of the Paramount logo - see also photo 13), Alpamayo (unfortunately not the famous face), and Huandoy. |
